Terms of Service
Effective Date: December 30, 2025
1. Nature of Service
RoastReady.io provides an automated technical assessment for websites. The analysis, scores, and badges are generated by software based on observable technical signals only — specifically: SSL certificate validity, HTTP security headers (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options), published legal pages (Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, cookie consent), and page load speed as reported by Google PageSpeed Insights.
What RoastReady does not assess: business registration or legal incorporation status, order fulfilment practices, financial solvency, the authenticity of customer reviews, whether the business behind the domain is legitimate, or any conduct that is not directly observable through automated technical signals.
All results are point-in-time. A score or badge reflects the state of a website at the moment of audit. It is not a continuous certification. Website conditions change; RoastReady cannot monitor a site between audits. These results are for informational purposes only and do not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or certification of any kind.
2. The Trust Badge & Score
If your website achieves a passing score (≥60/100), you are granted a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to display the RoastReady Trust Badge alongside its stated audit date. The badge must not be altered, cropped to remove the audit date, or presented in a way that implies a current or ongoing certification beyond the stated audit date.
We reserve the right to revoke this licence remotely and without prior notice if:
- Your website is reported for fraud, phishing, or scam activity and the report is substantiated upon review.
- You materially alter the website content after the audit in a manner that would change the score (e.g., removal of legal pages, SSL expiry).
- You attempt to tamper with or forge the badge code or cryptographic signature to display a false score.
- Your subscription lapses (agency customers only) or payment is reversed.
To report a badge displayed on a site you believe is fraudulent, email trust@roastready.io with the domain name and details of your concern. We investigate all reports and revoke badges where fraud is substantiated.
3. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ROASTREADY.IO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ROASTREADY.IO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR RELIANCE ON OUR SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOSSES SUFFERED BY CONSUMERS WHO TRANSACTED WITH A SITE THAT DISPLAYED A ROASTREADY BADGE; LOSSES ARISING FROM FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY ON A BADGED SITE; LOSS OF REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS REPUTATION.
RoastReady assesses only the technical signals described in Section 1. It does not investigate the human or commercial conduct of businesses behind websites and expressly disclaims any representation that a passing score or badge means a business is safe to transact with. Consumers should exercise independent judgement and use payment methods with buyer protection.
Merchants are solely responsible for their own legal compliance (GDPR, CCPA, eCommerce Directive, etc.). Using our legal-page detection feature does not constitute legal advice and does not replace consultation with a qualified lawyer.
5. Affiliate Disclosure
We may earn a commission if you subscribe to third-party tools (e.g., Hosting, SEO Tools) recommended in your audit report. This does not influence your technical score. We maintain objectivity in our algorithmic testing.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of Saarland, Germany, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law.
